KA
Kaed Kniffing made a statement in the opening round of SXA racing in the 125 B/C class, coming out on top in the main event ahead
of Ty Masterpool and Max Miller. The Rides Unlimited/BTO Sports Amateur Racing rider was looking for the repeat victory during the second SXA round in Glendale with newly acquired confidence
on his side. The Californian native got off to a good start in his heat races -- scoring a second in 125 B/C, a fourth in Schoolboy 2, and a first in Schoolboy 1. He wasn’t able to make his way back to the top step of the podium in the main events, but his riding was impres- sive nonetheless. A bit of misfor- tune in the 125 B/C class knocked him down to a fourteenth place finish, but he rebounded in the other main events with a couple
of solid finishes. Kniffing battled against fellow KTM rider, Max Miller, in the Schoolboy 1 class and recorded a solid second place finish in addition to a fifth place result in Schoolboy 2.
