Chance Hymas made his SXA debut at the second round of action in Glendale as he decided to skip out on the first iteration in Anaheim. The Team Green Kawasaki rider immediately made his mark on the 85cc and Mini Sr. classes as he finished first and second in his respective heat races, battling against Ryder DiFran- cesco. He was equally as impressive on the larger Supermini machine, fighting his way to two top five finishes to earn himself a decent gate pick for the main event. As the final races got underway, Hymas performed well in the various Supermini classes that he entered, earning a third and fourth place finish. In the 85cc and Mini Sr. classes, Hymas found himself battling against fellow Kawasaki pilot, DiFrancesco, yet again and the two of them disappeared at the front of the field. The Idaho native had to settle for second in both races, but put himself on the podium nonetheless, capping off the weekend with three podium finishes between five classes.
