Max, its easy to spot the amount of true raw talent he has. All through- out the day of events, Max Vohland was a betting favorite to do well in this event. Although a tad young to gamble, he believed in himself, and was willing to lay it all on the line
in order to come away with victory. Second off the start behind Josh Varize, he would etch his away around the number twenty-four
and look to open up a lead fast;
he would do so. The elbows were up, he was lugging the bike within the meat of the power range, and his rear end wouldn’t ever get out
of control. Manualing these rollers as if were on a BMX bike, the rear tire wouldn’t ever leave the ground, dodging numerous potholes in the process. He was the only rider to dip into the 1:13 range, as no one else had even come close to a single circuit time. He would cross the line, fist pumping with excite- ment; knowing that this was a per- fect start to the night. Jack Cham- bers would take the lead to begin moto number two, yet once again,
it was Vohland who was reading
the back of his jersey. Never one to be overly patient, Vohland spiked the throttle and stormed past the number 102, looking to leave the field in a puzzled state. He would do so, throwing down groups of laps and sections that no one else could rival. Although Kaeden Amerine made it a close fight, it was Vohland who would prevail, taking yet an- other win. The one-one scores were perfect, having a utopian like day; the championship was his, and his name would be place in the record books forever.
