the remaining laps, even setting the fastest lap in the process!
The pace he was running was astounding, showing that he could literally engage a next-level, sprint like speed in an instant. He eyed the run-off that was to come, rubbing his hands together with furious intent. Wilson’s start to this moto was much better than the first, where he only trailed Fineis, who was out front. Running an ab- surd one minute, forty-five second laptime, he would stalk the leader to the best of his ability. The two would storm from the pack, railing these illustrious bowl turns with down right jaw dropping speed. Launching off these singles on
to the straightaways, you could actually see the tires stamping themselves with rubber imprints. Needless to say, his bike was getting pushed to the absolute hilt, for the entirety of the moto. With all five laps now in the books, he would come across the final flag in second, knowing that he’d done well enough for a silver medal position. He was stoked, acknowl- edging the work he had done.
