Many fans in the sport of motocross, are curious as to just what the intermediate division entails. Does it cor- respond to a grading scale, where the “A-F” scale designates a riders abilities? Because if that’s the case, then the designation must be re-written in regards to today’s version of a “B” rider. Conquering the track with years of riding under their belt, there’s no lapse in speed throughout the corners, and each and every time and mogul sec- tion are conquered with little to no risk. Any roller section can be manualed, and the holeshot technique is held in the highest regard. And Jonah Geistler is the perfect representation of that, as every piece of the track was one that could be overcome with relative ease, although the track would become nasty itself. Geistler would come out for the first moto absolutely ripping, blazing his own trail through this relic of a track. Putting his nose to the grind- stone, ever lap was another lead being tossed into the record books, with his mechanic encouraging him from the sidelines. The towel waving, and constant clapping would propel him, giving him enough energy to withstand the likes of the pack behind him.
