tively consistent, regardless of the depth of the field. Hansen, coming across the line in sixth to begin the race, would move forward with a val- iant push to begin the show. Picking off riders two at a time, fourth would be changed into third by lap number three. A one minute, forty-four sec- ond laptime was something to build off of, and he would continue to rep- licate throughout the entirety of the moto. Nearly mimicking his lap three contest, his fourth and fifth laps would be that of the front-runners. The original order of Geistler, Colten Eigenmann, and Bryce Hansen would be the final showing as well, with Hansen rounding out the podium. He’d been in this game long enough to know, that one must finish and be in strong contention to do well in overall standings; not to fear one hiccup or bad moto, within the grand scheme of the event’s duration. Hansen had a little bit more to contest with for the second moto, as everyone’s laptimes had dropped, and the pace was much faster than before (along with closer than ever). With the top ten being separated by less than thirty seconds, Hansen had to fend with all sorts of riders throughout the front portion of the field, including Branden Walther and Kaed Kniffing who were out front. He would move up and down the board, getting as high as seventh at one point. It was here, where he and Adam Cranford would begin to joust, with the number twenty-seven of Cranford moving forward in the final moments. Hansen, although displeased, was all over the back of the train of riders just in front of him. He didn’t necessar-
ily know where he stood, or even what lap it was; all he wanted was to keep scrapping until he was escorted off the raceway. And in doing so, there was a bit of good karma thrown his way. Despite the eighth place finish, a solid ride albeit, everyone else had intertwined so much, that his moto scores placed him into third place overall! It was an ultra strong showing, leaving him ready to duplicate in the next class he entered.
