The moto would be just that to the Suzuki pilot, mistake free, and cruise to victory. The captain of
the German battalion proceeded to check his RPM’s, fuel monitors, takeoff conditions, and preferred
altitude levels, prior to his launch for moto two. A seemingly effortless start down the runway, pulling an early gap, pro- ceeded to an unbelievable 34 second lead, with eight minutes still remaining. The plane was on autopilot, the stewardess provid- ing refreshments on command, and not a cloud in the sky. No sign of turbulence, birds, or feeling of jetlag, this was a seemingly perfect route through the air, uneventful as could be. Roczen would go onto dominate the event, putting a staple on the series in which he’s already owned.
