MITCHELL OLDENBURG
Mitchell Oldenburg has finally landed the factory ride he has been looking for. After a successful amateur career, he was struggling to put it all together in the pro ranks, that is, until now. After the team has been plagued with crashes, Mitchell is now the only rider holding down the tent for the team TLD / KTM. So far in
2016, he has been dancing around that top ten position and impressing many people. With some extraordinary flashes of brilliance, Mitchell has been on the rise and is always one to keep an eye on. He started his season off with an impressive top ten overall and has been backing it up week in and week out. There is no doubt that “Freckle” has the speed, but experience and confidence are still some things he is building up. Mitchell was able to take home 10th overall a few weeks ago at Washougal as well and will be looking to back it up after the two week break this weekend in New York. Now, as the season winds down, and Mitchell be- ing the sole rider for his team, there is a little bit of pressure for him to perform. He should be able to keep improving and will assuredly be getting close to the top five before the end of the season.
