After racing the MXGP circuit for most of his career until moving to America, Tonus had to learn the different style of tracks in the AMA, so Unadilla (which shapes up like a European track) was probably marked on Arnauds calendar. After the restart of the first 250 race we seen Tonus running in 3rd behind AC and Webb. The #66 looked comfortable running the speed of the top 3 and was even pressuring Cooper for much of the first half of the race. In the second half of the moto Tonus was running a lonely 4th place until the hard charging Plessinger got by and it looked like Arnaud was going to finish in 5th. It is still relatively unknown what happened to the Pro Circuit rider because he eventually ended up with a 16th and didn’t line up for the second race. 16-38 moto scores gave him 20th overall. Hopefully we will see him line up for the final two rounds.
