LANCE KOBUSCH
Lance Kobusch tasted his first victory at the famed Loretta Lynn’s Ranch
in only his first year of competition, winning the 51cc (4-6) class in 2008. A couple of years later, the Missouri native hooked up with Team Green Kawasaki and he’s been hurled under the amateur motocross spotlight
ever since, collecting podiums and number one plates at various race events around the country. The last couple of years have been marred
by injury for the former Team Dunlop Elite rider, but his happy-go-lucky attitude has kept things moving in the right direction and he’s still found an abundance of success since mov-
ing up to the bigger bikes. Kobusch proved his prowess in the B class last year at the beginning of the season, claiming number one plates at both the Daytona RCSX as well as the
JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. The 2017 racing season also ended on a high note for the Team Green Kawasaki rider, racking up three over- all podium finishes at Mini O’s after recently graduating to the A class.
CADEN BRAS-
WELL
Team Dunlop Elite’s Caden Braswell seems to have a knack for finding his way to the front of the pack, no mat- ter the situation. The South Carolina native has established himself as one of the perennial contenders in the amateur motocross ranks, dating back to 2014 when he achieved his first overall podium at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Braswell has done some brand hopping throughout the last few years, but it seems that he’s recently found comfortability on the KTM which he will pilot throughout the 2018 season. His speed in the Supermini class has been unques- tionable throughout the Florida Winter Am Series and the results don’t lie, boasting two wins and six podiums thus far. In preparation for spring nationals, Braswell lined up
at Raymond James Stadium for the Monster Energy Amateur Supercross and he looked solid on his Supermini, collecting a couple of solid top five finishes as well as a podium in the Supermini 2 class.
