TAYLER ALLRED
Tayler Allred really came into her own throughout the 2017 racing season, most notably beating the likes of Jordan Jarvis and Jazzmyn Canfield to the Girls (11-16) title at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, matching their speed all week long. The Utah native has now left Hur- ricane Mills with a championship two years in a row and her success on the track has started to attract some atten- tion. She was one of two girls invited to race the Monster Energy Cup this past year and compete in the Supermini class and she was added to the Team Dunlop Elite program for the 2018 season. The thirteen year old has been no stranger to the podium throughout spring nationals as of late, winning titles at the Daytona RCSX as well as the JS7 Freestone Spring Champion- ship in 2017, and she’ll be looking to continue in that same direction when the gate drops in March.
CHANCE HYMAS
Chance Hymas has been a perennial con- tender in the national amateur motocross ranks ever since landing on the overall podium at the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship in 2015 with a second place finish. The Idaho native has showed speed and consistency in the years that followed, claiming two more po- diums at the Ranch, including a second in the 85cc (9-11) Limited class last year. In addition to his success in Hurricane Mills, the Team Green Kawasaki rider bagged podium finishes at the Daytona RCSX, the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship, and the Cal Classic; narrowly missing
out on a number one plate on multiple occasions. He finally captured the elusive number one plate that he had been chasing throughout the majority of the season at The Motoplayground Race at Ponca City, earning the title in the Mini Sr. 2 class ahead of some stiff competition. Hymas started the 2018 racing season with a plethora of podium finishes, picking up right where he left off at the end of 2017. He recorded two seconds and a third place result at the Monster Energy Amateur Supercross in Glendale, placing him in the limelight heading into spring nationals.
