COLLIN ALLEN
Collin Allen was one of the most improved riders throughout the 2017 racing season, undoubtedly attracting some attention around the industry after earning multiple podium finishes throughout the year. The Texas native has been sharpening his skill set down at Underground Training Facility in his home state and the hard work is clearly paying off. The KTM rider produced the best overall finish of his career at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, breaking inside the top twenty for the first time in his career with a fifth place overall in the ultra competitive 65cc (10-11) Limited class. The young Texan clearly gath- ered some momentum from his performance in Hurricane Mills as he picked up the pace at the end of the 2017 season, finding the podium at both the Baja Brawl and The Motoplayground Race at Ponca City. Although he found success throughout the majority of the racing season, Allen saved the best for last. He won a title in both supercross and motocross at Mini O’s in conjunction with three separate podium finishes. If the Texas native is able to continue making improvements at the same rate that he did last season, he’ll be one of the major storylines of the 2018 season.
