Maximus Vohland showed up at Spring A Ding Ding in Kemp, Texas as one of the top contenders in the Supermini class. The Team Dunlop Elite rider’s reputation for winning is well deserved as he’s spent an immense amount of time on the top of the podium throughout the last couple of years. He showed why he’s regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the current amateur motocross scene, finishing all four of his motos in first or second posi- tion. Vohland’s starts are a major key to his success as he’s rarely spotted in the middle of the pack on the first lap, often escaping at the front of the field with his competitors in tow. He earned first place overall in Supermini 2 and second place overall in Supermini 1 as Spring A Ding Ding came to a close and moved onto Freestone to do it again. It was more of the same at the JS7 Spring Champion- ship, finishing on the podium each and every time he hit the gate. Vohland’s best result came in the Supermini 2 class yet again, snagging the overall victory with a pair of 1-2 moto scores to get his hands on another number one plate in the month of March.

Spring A Ding Ding was ultimately
a successful weekend of racing for Tayler Allred as the Team Dunlop Elite rider dominated the Women (12+) Amateur class aboard her Supermini. Although a number one plate is always impressive, it was equally impressive how she handled herself against the boys in the Su- permini 2 class, earning a fifth place overall finish when racing came to
a close. Allred moved onto the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship and set her sights on more hard- ware. The Team Dunlop Elite rider was at a disadvantage in the Wom- en’s class, competing against 250cc machines aboard her supermini, but her oustanding corner speed and technique provided her with the win on both occasions. Allred entered both the Girls Sr. division as well as the Women (12+) Amateur class, sweeping all four motos on her way to a pair of championships.
