MAX MILLER
Max Miller was one of the standout performers in the B class at the inau- gural running of Spring A Ding Ding, finishing two thirds of his races on the podium. The Orange Brigade backed rider did exceptionally well on the KTM 125 and won the second moto in the Schoolboy 1 class, awarding him with a shiny, golden number one plate. Miller also stood on the podium in the 125cc (12-16) B/C class, com- bining a second and third place finish to achieve third overall. The Oregon native missed most of the 2017 sea- son due to an injury and it’s taken him some time to get back into the swing of things, but it’s safe to say that he hasn’t lost any of his speed. Once
the racing got underway at Freestone for the JS7 Spring Championship, Miller was battling for race wins and podiums. The KTM rider finished four out of six motos within the top five, but the majority of his success came in the 125cc (12-16) class where he scored two second place finishes, ultimately resulting in a second place overall.
PARKER
MASHBURN
Parker Mashburn felt right at home as he started off the 2018 spring races at Underground MX. The Texan spends his time riding, training, and living at the facility that hosted the inaugural Spring A Ding Ding race, leading him to a trio of moto wins throughout the weekend. The Orange Brigade backed rider contested
four separate B classes and found success in all of them, recording three moto victories and a couple of podium finishes over the course of both race days. Mashburn recorded two second place overall finishes in Schoolboy 2 and 450 B, but a DNF in the 250 B class held him back from achieving a number one plate. The Texan was fired up and eager
to win a championship heading into Freestone and his determination was immediately reflected in his results. Mashburn competed in eight differ- ent motos throughout the week at Freestone and only finished off the podium on one occasion; racking
up one third, four seconds, and two wins. He won both 450 B champion- ships and finished second overall in the 250 B Limited class, capping off an exceptional month of March at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship.
