NOAH VINEY
The Spring A Ding Ding event brought smiles to all in attendance, but espe- cially that of the number forty-three TM ride, of Noah Viney. Testing in the waters in three different classes, he would come home with three top-ten finishes, two of those being in the top five, and one landing on the podium, a third in the 85cc 9-13 open class. Each moto, the Morgan Hill native seemed to get better and better, truly adopting his smooth style to this rut-littered raceway. He was precise about line choice, displaying an absurd amount of efficiency. Letting the bike do the work, and saving his energy, reaped dividends, as each moto would be a stronger effort than the previous. Noah is as steady as they come, and doesn’t ever carry
an ounce of fear to the line. A lethal component to his game, he looks to take on any challenge in front of him, for the remainder of 2018.
NOAH SMERDON
Noah Smerdon lists the town of Cairo, GA as his residence, meaning one thing in the motocross world: he’s serious. He lives here, train-
ing long hours, in hopes of landing the lucrative professional ride, and being one of the top contenders in the sport. He’s well on his way, if his rides at the Spring A Ding Ding event were any indication. Four finishes inside the top ten, would total up to overall finishes of seventh, and third. You couldn’t wipe the smile off of his face, knowing that his efforts dur-
ing the week resulted in awesome finishes at week’s end. Freestone was now here, and although a bit of trouble occurred during the latter part of the week, his fifth place in moto one of the 85cc (9-12) class, proved that he could compete with the most elite riders in his division. He’s now back to the drawing board, looking to better himself with each passing day. We admire the hard work, and know he will continue to climb.
