The “Philthy” man himself, Phil Nicoletti, has had quite the go at it over the past few rounds, securing top ten finishes since Millville five weeks ago. If that wasn’t enough, his best finish yet was last weekend at Budds Creek with a 5th overall and the groove has really been flowing lately for the full-time replacement rider who continues to impress. It’s pretty remarkable how much success Nicoletti continues to achieve after not even being scheduled to race the 2015 season. In a position to take advantage of his teammates misfortune, with Barcia and Peick both suffering from injuries, Phil put in enough rides to solidify himself as the best C-plan around by putting in endless top ten performances. Where Phil has struggled is his consistency and endurance, commonly being pushed back over the course of the late laps. Hoping to end this year on the right foot with the hopes of earning more seat time in the upcoming season, Philthy will need to get out of the gate like he usually does and put in full motos at the highest pace possible. With only two more moto’s, it’s a torture test where the number one focus is preventing the fade. Well...
