Finding himself coming out of the gate rather well with the 11th gate pick, Zach settled into 8th after the cha-
otic first lap. With the 250 four-strokes held wide open, Osborne remained there to search for lines but was
caught by surprise when both Plessinger and Webb railed around the Husqvarna veteran. After looking to be at least a mid-race charge contender, Osborne lost some steam and fell outside the top 10 to 13th. It’s unclear exactly what happened but after hitting that 13th spot, Zach finally hit his groove and began to battle with RJ Hampshire. Osborne, through the midway portion of the moto, was able to make the move on RJ and took 12tu place into the final ten minutes of the race.
