JORDON SMITH
Jordon Smith’s sophomore season in the professional ranks showed some signs of improvement but he still has one glaring inefficiency. His lack of consistency. Over the last two years Smith has blown us
away at times with his speed and early race fight but more often than not he fails to seal the deal. He kicked off the year at Hangtown with a flawless ride finishing second place in the first moto but then would struggle in the second moto finishing sixteenth. Many races have gone like that for him this year where he has one great moto and one bad one. His best weekend of the year came when he did string two motos together going 4-6 at Muddy Creek. He looked great and fought in the top three both motos but then the following week he would tweak his shoulder sidelining him for a few races. Since his return at Unadilla, he has only finished inside the top twenty in one moto with two DNFs in those four motos. The Geico Honda rider continues to strive to get better and improve consistency by putting in some serious work down at MTF and he has one more race to put his machine back up in the top five where it belongs.
