JUSTIN HILL
2016 has been full of its up and downs when referring to Justin Hill. The Troy Lee Red Bull KTM rider has shown some brilliant speeds at times but has also fallen victim to the unforgiving injury bug. The 250 East Coast championship was very much up for grabs and Hill decided to make a run for it nearly completing a spectacular come from behind victory at the second round at Daytona ultimately finishing second. He carried that momentum into a dominating twenty-second victory at Toronto and it seemed he had what it
took to keep it rolling. Unfortunately the following weekend in Detroit he would suffer a bad concussion in practice ending his bid for the title. Fast forward through the concussion recovery and a back injury, Hill finally made his healthy return at Washougal.
He finished fifth overall and showed great speed charging all the way up to fourth in the second moto. It was a great sign Hill and he showed he still has what it takes to compete up front outdoors after some years of struggling. He will look to end his season strong at Indiana this weekend and maybe grab a podium to head into the offseason on a great note.
