Bradley Taft is happy to get some experience in the professional ranks here at the last three rounds. He struggled to get a fast time in qualifying practice due to the mud and he would come away with the twenty- seventh fastest time. He’s had some good runs because of stellar starts so he was looking to nail another to
get his day going. Taft could not get that good start he was looking for in the first moto. He came around the first lap in fourteenth place looking to move forward. He’s been feisty early in the motos he’s raced this year and that stayed true as he inched up to twelfth a few laps into the moto. He got to eleventh halfway through only to have Osborne and Hampshire pass him back sending him back to thirteenth. Taft did not give up late in the moto and tracked Hampshire back down to take twelfth in the moto. It was a pretty solid ride for the rookie as
he looked for more of the same in the second moto. Taft suffered from a worse start in the final moto of the year exiting the opening lap in eighteenth place. As he did in the first moto, he made some quick work of the riders ahead of him and moved up to fourteenth after a handful of laps. For the remainder of the moto he bounced around moving between fourteenth and sixteenth but in the end he would finally lock down the better of the positions making it 12-14 moto scores for the day. Pretty decent results for a rookie in those brutal track conditions and we can only imagine he will come back stronger for his first full season in 2017.
