COOPER WEBB
Coming into the Nationals this summer, many thought that Cooper Webb was most definitely NOT a championship contender due to a wrist injury that nearly lost him the Supercross championship. Cooper fought through the pain in Vegas, won the championship, and was on the gate at Hangtown despite doctor’s
opinions. Cooper has continued to fuel his motivation with shear determination and has only gotten better. Consistency was the key to Cooper’s success this season as he was the only rider to finish inside the top five overall at each race. He will no doubt be looking to win this weekend and will make the jump to the 450 immediately after. He will then pilot the big bike in his next race in Italy where he will represent the USA as the team captain. The premier division will then be set on fire in 2017 when Cooper begins the next step in his already successful career. He will automatically be a title favorite in his rookie year and it should make things very interesting.
