With the gates being stood up, and all of the sudden dropped in unison, Chisholm’s reaction time was rewarded with a fifteenth as the field bonsai-ed down the finish line hill. Displaying the cool, calm intelligence that had got him to this point in his career, he began to master the Indiana course. Just around the midway point of the race, Chisholm had etched himself into the 16th position, a solid effort for the veteran. He was prowling amongst the back in which he lay, sneaking into the lead pace, disguising himself amongst the rest,
and pouncing in an instant. Sandwiched between Cole Martinez, and Heath Harrison, Chisholm would place his best foot forward, and go toe to toe with his fellow classmates. His signature, lanky style allowed for a little bit of leverage when blitzing the pothole like chop. A sand rider by heart, he was in foreign territory, but still providing an effort noteworthy of fans and industry alike. As each lap passed, he remained solid, putting his anchor in the ground and not budging for anyone. He would go on to finish sixteenth. Chisholm’s luck would end here however, as the registry placed him in 40th position at the beginning of moto two. We all wish Kyle the best, and hope he’s able to compete amongst strong support for next year’s series.
