El Hombre’s start was a solid foundation for the laps to come for the opening 450 moto, giving him a
number seven as blitzed passed the mechanics area. Positioned between Eli Tomac and Weston Peick,
he had all the support needed to perform a hard fought charge to the front. At the halfway point of the moto, An- derson had snuck his way into the top five, looking to keep the ball rolling. Tiptoeing his way through the balance beam like surface, Anderson was attempting to gain as much track time as humanly possible. He could see the number 25 off in the distant, no longer a facade, but reality if he hits marks accordingly. With lap traffic becoming more and more of a factor with each passing lap, it would slow the number 21 train and force him to bring home a fifth place finish. Round number two saw JA21 near the top five in the open- ing moments, making the move around Phil Nicoletti a few minutes in. With the majority of the field capping their season with the Crawfordsville event, Anderson was in dyer need of seat time, knowing that he would have to keep a feverish pace for the next few weekends, in preparation for the MXDN. With the Husqvarna team applauding, Anderson rounded the final lap in fifth place, bringing in a solid fifth overall.
