Matt was ready to finish his hectic season strong on Saturday morning in Indiana. He qualified 14th and knew he had his work cut out for him if he wanted to finish the season inside the top ten. When the first moto began, he got a decent start and was running top ten early on. He continued to put in a solid race and was running 11th as they crested the halfway point. Bisceglia began to feel pressure from Benoit,
which encouraged Matt to speed up. He began to reel in Dean Wilson as the battle tightened up. Matt eventually lost
the position and was sitting 12th with ten minutes left on the clock. With three laps to go, Matt had made his way back around the Canadian and was doing everything he could to hold on till the finish. He was able to hold on for 11th and set his focus on the next one. Matt got a fantastic start when the next moto began and was running in the top ten early on. He was right behind Tomac and was matching pace with the Coloradan. Matt tried to follow but fell behind a just a bit. Nevertheless, Matt caught and passed Nicoletti and was now sitting 6th. He put down solid laps all the way to the end and was able to hold on to 6th to take his best overall finish of the year with an 8th in Indiana.
