JAKE WEIMER
450 SX / 14TH

>> Rumors swirled through the pits of border patrol not being able to contain a prominent rider on the circuit. The story was said to take place in the customs department at the Toronto Airport; a man was being detained on thoughts of criminal activity, a sleek, trespassing male who looked to cause an absurd amount of chaos once enter-
ing the country; his plan would revealed, with a memo to destruct the Rogers Centre, and have every media outlet repeating his name. He wanted everyone to know exactly who he was; and upon meeting Jake Weimer, agents too feared for their safety; he sat them down, told them what to do, and they agreed, bowing to his word, and let him put his plan into action on the evening of Saturday March 4th, 2017. Everyone in the city was tuning into the television, attracted to the lure in which he brought in. His name, radiating on the roster, and once his qualifying position was set in stone, the bright lights were all in his fa- vor. Rocketing out of the gate, the number 12 found himself in a rather unpleasant position, buried in a pile of quicksand and sinking fast. He would have to kick, scream, and claw his way out, just to emerge and get a gasp of this extremely cold Toronto air. His trademark patient, rather lethargic style was improving his position with each lap that passed, although not by much. Trading paint with rider’s such as Mar- vin Musquin, the duo would overtake the fading Malcolm Stewart for 14th near the ten minute mark. Clocking his fastest lap with a 59.860, he would bring the Suzuki around a final time in 14th by race end; just ahead of pre-season hype man, Malcolm Stewart. He would solidify himself yet again as a contender in this deep division.
