>> Cameron McAdoo is one of the fresh new rookies in Monster Energy Supercross. Last year, he impressed many at the Monster Energy Cup from the Amateur class and is looking to chase the same success among the big boys. Cameron inked a deal with Moto Concepts and charged
his way through the road to Supercross program in Arenacross to make his Supercross debut in the 2017 250 East Coast series. In his first race, Cameron took home a top 15 finish and last weekend ended up with an impressive 13th. When the day began in Toronto, Cameron was deter- mined to continue the improvement. He qualified a very impressive 11th place, and went into the races with an extra boost of confidence. Cam- eron got a good jump in the Heat and was running 6th early on. By lap two, he was doing everything he could to hold off Savatgy but eventually let him by. Cameron was now doing everything he could to hold on to qualifying position. He was able to keep his composure as he took 7th place when the checkered flag flew. Cameron was ready to keep the im- provement train rolling when the Main began. He got a top ten start and was looking quick. Cameron was holding solid with a 9th place as the riders neared the halfway point. He continued to put down solid laps and was starting to challenge for 6th place with a handful of laps remaining. Unfortunately, he slipped back to 8th because of a pass put on him by Hampshire. Another rider came charging up and was able to get by Cam- eron as well with just 4 laps remaining. Then, with 2 laps to go, Cameron was pushed off the track by another rider. Luckily, he was able to keep the bike on two wheels and re-enter safely. He would hold on to finish an impressive 9th place in Toronto.
