IIMAGE / MPG WORDS / LANNAN DESIGN / WILSON
>> Anthony Rodriguez is a household name in the sport of Super- cross. The young rider is on a new team for 2017 and is looking
to get back up to the top 5 this season. Anthony was fast at the opener just a few weeks ago where he brought home an impres- sive 7th place. This weekend, Anthony was a man on a mission looking to make up points lost in Atlanta where he was unable to ride the LCQ. Anthony was forced to forfeit all possible points in Atlanta and was assuredly ready to get his season back on track. Anthony was haulin’ the mail in the crisp Canada air when practice began. He continued his speed as the 250 Heat began where he got off to a mediocre start but muscled his way through the pack as they snaked through the first corners. Anthony continued his charge and jumped his way into 4th place early on the first lap. He rode a clean race and was able to hold on to 4th all the way to the finish. In the Main, Anthony did not get the start he was looking for as he crossed the line in 14th place on the first lap. He maintained a steady pace for the first half of the Main and it paid off as he slowly picked up positions. Finally, he started to catch up to Har- rison who was sitting in 10th. With about 4 laps to go, he really began to reel in the Yamaha rider and was doing all he could to make up the time. Finally, on the last lap, Anthony made the move and crossed the line in 10th place in Toronto.
