>> Mitchell Harrison is a young gun doing everything he can to carry over some of his success in the amateur ranks to the pro level. This has been proven time and time again to be one of the most challenging things to do for young stars like Mitchell. The sophomore dabbled inside the top ten this passed summer in the motocross series but has yet to make the milestone in Supercross. Last weekend in Atlanta, Mitchell got very close and was looking to get it done when the cold day began in Toronto. He qualified strong and got a fantastic start in 250 Heat 2. He was able to push his Yamaha into 2nd place early on and was looking smooth and fast. He then lost a couple spots to hard charging Savatgy and Os- borne. Luckily, he was able to hold on for 5th place and was eager to continue the success. When the Main Event started, Mitchell got another great start and was working hard to hold the spot. He was counted in 7th place at the green flag and was looking good. He was able to maintain this position for many laps and it looked like
a top ten was gonna be possible for the young rider. Then, just as the riders reached the halfway point, Mitchell made a costly mis- take and was forced back to 11th. It was clear to see that he was ready for the night to be over as he used the rest of his energy to hold the position all the way to the finish line. He would be counted with 11th place in Canada.
