A CALAVANO
IMAGE / WONDERGOAT WORDS / KILPATRICK DESIGN / WILSON
>> Antonio Calavano didn’t spend anytime settling into
the race as he grabbed the early advantage at the front
of the field, keeping his head down and charging forward throughout the entirety of the moto. The GPF supported
rider clocked the fastest time of the entire race on his very first flying lap as he put himself in the position to check out on the competition and ride his own race from the front of
the field. Once he had a decent gap ahead of the rest of the podium contenders, he was able to hit his marks and main- tain the lead, not taking any big chances as the Californian still continued to grow his advantage. He piloted his Yamaha with outright precision and power as he appeared to put the bike where he wanted, never seeming as if he was riding over his head in order to outpace his competitors by multiple seconds per lap. Calavano has been able to put in dominant performances throughout the entire week of C class competi- tion and today was no different as he continued to make his mark on the class. He sent another message to his rivals with a nearly flawless performance that will give him bundles of confidence heading into the final day of racing.
