>> Kyle Smith jumped out front to the early lead on his Rides Unlimited supported KTM machine as he led Marcelo Le- odorico at the sharp end of the field. Smith began to check out in trademark style as he took advantage of the clear track to run his own race without any pressure from his rivals behind. The top 3 split up dramatically over the course of
the opening laps; Parker Ross sat behind Leodorico as the two of them gave it everything in an attempt to keep up with Kyle Smith. The young Georgia native continued to stretch the gap ahead of Leodorico and Ross as he took the white flag, setting faster lap times with each circulation of the track. Smith was in complete control of his KTM as well as the
race as he took the checkered flag with a multitude of time to spare. His confidence will continue to soar sky high on his way to another dominant win, giving him plenty of ammo heading into the second moto on Saturday.
