>> Carson Brown sped down the start straight on his Team Green Kawasaki and jumped out to an early lead ahead
of TJ Albright and Kobe Heffner. Brown showed the pace
to escape at the head of the pack and he began to do just that as the battle for 2nd position brewed behind him. Hef- fner was all over the back of Albright’s Yamaha throughout the entirety of the second lap as the Washington native out front continued to stretch his advantage. Toward the begin- ning of the 3rd lap, Austin Winslow put in a blinding lap as he forced his Yamaha up the inside of Kobe Heffner and TJ Albright in quick succession in order to move into 2nd posi- tion. He turned the fastest lap of the race in the process, but the lead that Carson Brown enjoyed was an immense gap to overcome with so little time remaining. Heffner finally made his way around Albright, just as the white flag came out for the leader, moving into the final spot on the podium. Carson Brown put in a masterful performance from start to finish
as he wrapped up the victory in dominant fashion ahead of Watling.
