>> Bradyn Johnson got out to an early advantage ahead of Tyler Mollet and Zy Johnson. The three of them rocketed
up out of the gator pit and over the dinner table practically
in unison as Mollet immediately began to put the pressure
on Johnson in the lead. The #20 of Mollet was able to make the move for the lead about halfway through the opening lap and he attempted to check out once he found the clear track ahead of him. The Floridian did just that as he set the fastest lap of the race on his first flying lap by almost 7 seconds over his competitors. Bradyn Johnson held firmly to 2nd place as Luke Fauser battled back from a poor start to a podium posi- tion in the dying breath of the moto. Mollet ended up cross- ing the finish line with a winning gap of approximately 10 seconds as he put himself in contention for the overall victory with a heat race win.
