>> Challen Tennant rocketed out of the gate on his Star Racing Yamaha ahead of Ramyller Alves and Sean Cantrell. The TLD KTM rider made the move into 2nd place down
into the gator pit in a desperate attempt to keep Tennant in check. The two of them immediately began to put time into the EBR backed Yamaha rider of Alves which should be no surprise to the fans that have lined the fences throughout the week of racing. Tennant began to stretch the advantage by the second with each passing lap, putting the hammer down. The Texan has been in dominant form all week long and the final 250 A moto was no different as he completely checked out over the next couple laps, leaving no question as to who was the fastest rider in the field. Meanwhile, the battle for 3rd place heated up as Jordan Bailey closed in on Alves. The Rockstar Husqvarna rider trailed Alves for a couple laps, but he managed to force his way past Bailey just after the dinner table section, using a couple of outside lines to build his mo- mentum and make the pass stick. Tennant ended up cruising to the victory with relative ease, managing his gap from the front of the race with ultimate consistency. He left his com- petitors no chance as he secured the victory, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Cantrell from taking the overall champion- ship.
