>> Jett Reynolds put himself at the front of a green flash of Kawasakis as the leading pack dropped into the gator pit for the first time. Reynolds made a mistake before the whoops section and forfeited the position to Dilan Schwartz as the top four riders were made up of Kawasakis. The Team Green duo of Stilez Robertson and Seth Hammaker were battling for 3rd. Hammaker worked his way into 2nd position past
his teammates and began to close the gap on Schwartz in the lead. Reynolds and Robertson were involved in a heated battle for the final podium spot as they scrubbed side-by-side over the table top coming into the spectators area. Schwartz had control of the overall with a 3rd place finish in the first moto as he managed to maintain the gap back to Ham- maker and control the race from the front. Schwartz continu- ally grew his advantage at the front of the pack, holding the fastest lap time of the race. Back in the battle for 3rd place, Reynolds and Robertson came together and allowed Nate Thrasher into the final podium position. Schwartz took the checkered flag with a fist pump as he sewed up the champi- onship ahead of Hammaker and Jarrett Frye.
