>> Hannah Hodges and Kaitlyn Morrow were side by side headed down into the gator pit in a complete repeat of the first moto. The Yamaha rider was able to pull alongside of the Team Green Kawasaki as they got on the power at the bottom of the gulch, but Hodges was able to carry a bit more speed on the incline and she solidified her lead. She didn’t hang around this moto as she immediately began to pull the pin and inch away from Morrow in 2nd place. Meanwhile, the battle for 3rd was in full swing as Shelby Rolen and Macken- zie Tricker were practically locked together through the first sector of the track. The gap between the leaders stagnated as Hodges focused on her composure and maintained the lead gap of approximately 3 seconds with ease. Over the course of the next couple laps, the Florida native was able to build her lead to about 11 seconds over Morrow. The battle for 3rd place settled down as Tricker maintained a comfort- able gap ahead of Rolen, ironing out the final order of the po- dium. Hodges was able to take the overall with a pair of 1st place finishes as Morrow and Tricker rounded out the box.
