>> Kaeden Amerine shot out of the gate to a stellar holeshot on his Rides Unlimited backed KTM ahead of the Husqvarna duo of Gael Ruiz Del Campo and Larry Reyes Jr. Nate Thrasher and Brandon Walther were just behind them as the early battle for the podium was overflowing with intensity. Amerine took advantage of the slicing and dicing behind him to build a decent advantage at the front, but Thrasher had other ideas as he scythed his way into 2nd place past the Husqvarnas. The Tennessee native in 2nd place turned the fastest lap of the race as he hunted down Amerine, closing in on the rear fender of the KTM with each and every twist
of the Gatorback course. The battle for the final spot on the podium had not settled down as Larry Reyes Jr. just had a slight advantage over his pursuers. There was a lead change on the penultimate lap as Thrasher blew by Amerine in the whoops section; he was able to set up the overtake with a better drive into the whoops as he just held it open across the tops of the rollers. Amerine was able to follow the lines of his former teammate as they made one more lap around the track, but Thrasher had the superior pace and was able to hold onto the win as well as the overall victory. Amerine and Kessler rounded out the overall podium.
