>> Carson Mumford flew out of the gate to the holeshot on- board his Factory Connection Honda machine ahead of Dilan Schwartz. The Kawasaki rider was able to make the move
on Mumford on the opening lap and immediately began to gap him as he took advantage of the clear track ahead of him. Meanwhile, there was a fierce battle for 3rd position
as Jarrett Frye, Ethan Mann, and Seth Hammaker duked it out. The #510 Team Green Kawasaki of Hammaker was in contention for the overall victory, but he needed to work his way up to Mumford in 2nd in order to make it happen. He found his way around Mann and Frye within two successive laps and began to turn his attention to the Honda ahead of him. Schwartz made a mistake in the first corner which set up a grandstand finish between Mumford and Hammaker in the battle for the overall. The battle of west coast vs. east coast began to tighten up as the two riders pushed each other to their limits on the way to the start of the final lap. The two of them came into the spectators section with only
a couple of bike lengths separating them as the pressure from Hammaker forced Mumford into a mistake and gave the Kawasaki rider the advantage headed into the final couple of corners. The Pennsylvania native grabbed win as well as the overall victory and took his first Mini O’s championship in the process. Carson Mumford and Ethan Mann rounded out the overall podium.
