>> It was a Team Green Kawasaki 1-2-3 at the head of the field as Stilez Robertson got out to an early lead ahead of Di- lan Schwartz and Seth Hammaker. Robertson began to take off from the rest of the pack, building himself an advantage of approximately 1 second as the gang crossed the finish line for the first time. Hammaker worked his way past Schwartz and into 2nd position on the first flying lap, bringing himself within 1.8 seconds of Robertson as the Team Green duo crossed the finish line. Meanwhile, Ethan Mann came to spoil the Kawasaki party as he worked his way past Schwartz and into the final spot on the podium. Robertson and Hammaker paced one another, setting practically identical lap times as the Californian was able to manage the gap from the lead over the Pennsylvanian. Schwartz found a burst of speed late in the moto, fighting his way back past the KTM of Mann, and closing the gap back to Hammaker shortly thereafter. The leading trio stagnated on the final lap, setting into their positions as Team Green swept the podium in finality. Rob- ertson took a commanding victory, but any one of the top three had the pace to take the checkered flag, making the battle for the overall one to watch in the second moto.
