>> Julien Beaumer found himself out front of another race as he rocketed his Cobra machine to a holeshot ahead of James Clough and Owen Covell. Beaumer put the hammer down on the 2nd lap and stretched the lead out ahead of the trailing KTMs. Shortly after, Clough began to eat away at the gap that Beaumer had accumulated by turning the fastest lap as he hunted down the leader. The Cobra rider was able to recover from his mid-race lull and recuperate in the form of a sizable advantage at the front of the pack. Covell made a mistake at the midway point of the race and allowed Team Green Kawasaki’s Krystian Janik to move into the final po- dium position.
