Braeden Ortt is another rider that’s bringing some international
flair to the MotoAmerica paddock and he brings quite the pedigree
The seventeen year old Canadian contested the 2015 MotoAmerica KTM RC390 Cup Championship
and ended up finishing the year with a third overall, providing him the opportunity to race in the inaugural event of the KTM 390 Cup World Finals at Silverstone in the UK. Ortt finished the weekend as the top North American racer and ended up third overall,
drawing some major international attention that earned him a ride in European World Supersport Championship for 2016. Although he’s one of the youngest riders in the class, he has a multitude of experience compared to the majority of his competitors. Ortt put in some solid performances at Road Atlanta on his Tuned Racing Yamaha, placing him in seventh position in the points heading into the second round at VIR.
