>> Jerry Robin is the kid best known for making the best of what he’s got. Jerry is clearly doing it again as he landed a spot on the Blue Buffalo team for the 2017 250 East coast series. Jerry is running the #558 in honor of his friend Dylan Slusser and is determined to represent it well. He boasts of natural talent and is working on how to channel this talent to top-ten speed on the Supercross track. If it weren’t for bad luck and bad starts, he may have already found himself there but things don’t always work out the way we hope. When the day started in Detroit, Jerry was looking very fast as usual and qualified an impressive 12th fastest going into the night show. When the gate dropped for 250 Heat 1, Jerry didn’t get the start he was looking for but still managed to hold down a top ten position as the riders slowly but surely made their way through the first few sections. He made his way into qualifying position quickly and was able to hold it down all the way to the checkers. When the Main Event began, Jerry launched out of the gate but quickly began to tangle with another rider. Luckily for both of them, they were able to separate and continue their charge down the start straightaway. Jerry then narrowly missed the pile up in turn one and was running just inside the top ten going into the second corner. He would run 8th place for a few laps, but unfortunately around lap four, his bad luck would strike again. This time it took Jerry nearly two minutes to get the bike going again, but it seemed he would remount uninjured. He was now running two laps down in 20th position. Unfortunately there was nothing Jerry could do at this point, and he would settle for 20th place in Detroit.
