>> For the final round of the season Adam Cianciarulo was 5 points out of championship contention behind the three-way showdown. With the poten- tial of three different riders claiming the title it wasn’t the first thought on his mind going into the race. Looking for a good finish to end the year the Mon- ster Energy Pro Circuit rider was all focus heading into Vegas. Charging out of the gate for his heat race he was midpack around the first turn. Knowing he had to make his moves quickly being a heat race, he began making his moves early on and the #36 moved into 7th on the first lap. By the time the heat race reached its half way point Cianciarulo had worked his way into 5th place. Battling it out with Cameron Mcadoo for the last few laps, he sneaked by him and finished the heat race in 4th place. Now onto the main event, the Kawasaki rider was looking comfortable on the Las Vegas track condi- tions. Knowing it was the last race of the season, and being only a short amount of points out of the championship, Cianciarilulo was ready to hang
it out. Pulling the trigger out of the gate Cianciarulo flew to the first turn getting the holeshot, avoiding all the chaos behind him. Once he got in his groove he was unstoppable just racing the race at his own pace. Without even knowing there was a point in the race where he was almost crowned champion. Finishing off the season strong the Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider went out on top and second in points. A strong finish to a long season.
