JORDAN JARVIS
Women (14-18) ABC
IMAGE / TENHAGEN WORDS / LANNAN DESIGN / WILSON
>> Jordan Jarvis has been dominating the women’s classes for many years now. She is getting close to bringing her talent to the next level and her dominating performances are providing her with all the confidence she needs. When the Mains began inside the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Jordan was ready to put on another show. When the gate dropped for Women (14-18), she shot out of the gate like a canon. She put her head down and navigated the moist Oklahoma soil with ease. Her Yamaha was running perfectly as she kept right in the power of the perfectly tuned two stroke machine. Jordan looked to be in a league of her own as she began to pull away from the rest of the field. Scrubbing through the straightaways and laying her Yamaha down to the limit through the corners, she was on rails. The North Carolina rider quickly opened up a full straightaway lead by the second lap and was not letting up. Due to
a crash earlier in the day, her focus was on another level as she was riding with laser like precision. She wanted to be sure that if anything happened in this moto, she would still be able to re-mount and win. By lap five, Jordan had opened up an incredible twenty-second lead over the rest of the field. She continued to put the hammer down and nothing was going to get in her way of this win. On the final lap she was still riding like her life depended on it and had nearly a forty-second gap over 2nd place. This amazing performance put the Yamaha backed rider an entire lap in front of the rest of the field by the time the checkered flag was waved. Determination like this has been seen in the past, but only by few, this girl is going places.
