It has been a dream season for Ryan Dungey. Finishing first or second place in every main event thus far, he has avoided crashes, avoided bike problems and
has yet to even get a bad start. I guess when it’s your year, it’s your year. Round 8 of the Monster Energy Supercross season would not be any different. Qualifying 2nd in practice and 3rd in his heat race, Ryan was ready for another solid main event. As the gate dropped Ryan found himself in about 5th place and immediately made his way to the front of the pack. Dicing in and out of riders and riding at a much higher intensity level than those around him, he worked his way all the way to 2nd place by the end of lap one. The race was on between Ryan and his Redbull KTM team mate Marvin Musquin.
