BROC TICKLE
450 MX / 7TH
IIMAGE / CAVAZOS WORDS / MATTINGLY DESIGN / WILSON
>> Broc Tickle is signed on a notion of being well-developed, and ultra consistent. Each and every series, the Michigan born, turned Carolina raised, Suzuki pilot, can always be jotted down for a solid tenth overall. Glen Helen was absolutely no different. Moto number one saw Broc coming from a less than ideal fifteenth place position, having to rally for- ward. He’d done it many times before, making this just another routine dog-fight. Scrubbing his way over the hip jump onto the start straight away, he was looking at his mechanic with rage of aggression, all the while pegging the 450 to the hilt. Pushing his way past Freddie Noren, Justin Barcia, and rookie Justin Hoeft, the pace was there, but man did the start absolutely destroy any hopes for a solid finish. Chasing Weston Peick on lap eight, he was pivoting everywhere in order to get around the number 32. Battling for quite sometime, all seemed to be well, until the end of the moto, when a mishap would push him all the way back to 14th. A start inside the top seven was just what the doctor ordered for moto number two, as he actually clicked the 450 into the top of the gear- box, for just a short period of time; which isn’t too often the case. He would fight into seventh for the opening sequences, the technique foun- dation of his riding style being ever apparent. Trailing the crafty French- man of Mr. Musquin, he was doing his best to lasso the foreigner, and attempt to mimic his every move. It work for a bit, as he would make his way past Justin Bogle early on, as well as Justin Barcia. He was shifting up when need-be, dragging the rear brake just a tad, to loosen up the chassis. His maturity looked to be well in-tact, and as he was maneuver- ing his way around the track, his laser focus was imminent. He would be rewarded with a solid fourth place and seventh overall on the day.
