>> Local Southern California privateer Justin Hoeft put on an incredible ride for round two at Glen Helen Raceway. In the first moto, the number 244 machine made his hometown proud when he came flying off the start in the second place position. With some off the most seasoned and top riders in the world battling around him, Justin Hoeft maintained composure and was still in the fifth place spot on lap one. With the terrain becoming more challenging with each passing lap, the rider on the Yamaha started to fall back a couple of positions but still finished the race in a very commendable eleventh place spot. This privateer showed us all what raw talent and speed in some gnarly conditions looked like- and definitely had top ten overall potential moving
into the second moto. What once was a full gate of riders now had holes and patches in it after a grueling first moto as the thirty-second card rose for moto number two. Unfortunately for Justin Hoeft, he was unable to grab the same kind of start that he had earlier in the day and found himself in the seven- teenth place position on the first few rough and rocky laps. Hoeft was able
to dig deep and gain a few spots with the passing laps, finishing the moto in fourteenth place. Justin Hoeft left Glen Helen with a fourteenth place overall finish, a great ride by the privateer out of the Golden State.
