Chance Hymas was one of the most high profile amateur kids to fill out the studded competition at the 2017 Motoplay- ground Race at Ponca City. The Team Green Kawasaki rider continues to build his results after a couple of top five overall finishes on the 85cc machine at the 2017 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championships. The rider out of Idaho was aiming to improve from his first outing at Ponca City, finishing all three classes that he contested on the podium with unrelenting consistency. In 2017, Hy- mas would be contesting five different classes aboard his Kawasaki, providing him with the opportunity to score a plethora of podium finishes. The Team Green Kawasaki rider found the majority of his success in the Mini Sr. classes where he was able to record two separate victories and a second place finish, but it was the Mini Sr. 2 class that produced his championship quality performance.
