>> Deano became a fan favorite almost instantly as he turned professional. The likeable rider has had many great finishes but sadly the last few years have been riddled with injury for the #15. Chad transitioned from the 250 class to the premier class over 3 years ago, so many think Dean is almost one of the veterans of the field. Most people forget that Wilson has only competed in 9 supercross main events in the 450 class and 4 of those main events where in 2014 when he filled in on Chad Reeds TwoTwo Motosports Kawasa- ki, while he was still in the 250 class. 2017 is almost like Deans rookie season in the class, and if it was he would be probably be crowned rookie of the year. Everyone knows that Dean is full of talent but after a few bad years teams got reluctant about offering a deal to the #15. After racing the first 4 rounds aboard a privateer Yamaha the Rockstar Husqvarna team got in contact with Dean and asked if he would fill in Christophe Pourcels roll for the team. Dean was overwhelmed with joy and is sitting 9th in points after 14 rounds. Can you believe it, Deano has finished more Supercross rounds this season alone than he has in the past 3 years.
The former 250 motocross champion didn’t start his heat race off the way he would’ve liked and could only muster a 7th. @deanwilson15 started 5th place in his Semi and put
a charge on right away getting himself to 2nd by lap two. Dean was slowly was picking away the lead Bogle gathered up until Justin stalled his bike, handing Wilson the lead. The factory Husqvarna rider has struggled with his starts all season long and this weekend in Seattle was no different as Dean was almost dead last around the first corner in the main event (besides riders who fell). DW15 made the most out of the other riders mistakes coming around in 12th after the first lap. Generally by the mid way point the field is spread out but Wilson and Brayton where in a heated battle for 9th position. After some time the #15 fell off the pace and was back in 12th. While dean did fall behind he was able to stay within sight of the riders who made their way by and profitted from a Bogle and Brayton collision. 10th is where he would finish.
