>> It has been a hit and miss season for the #10 of Justin Brayton. Justin came into the season aboard the all new 2017 Honda crf450r’s. That wasn’t the only thing the veteran had to adapt to as he switched teams from the BTOSports.com/ KTM/WPS team to the Smartop/ Motoconcepts Honda team. This deal fell into place perfectly for both the team and rider because the team is Supercross only team and Justin was looking to retire from Motocross but continue to race Super- cross. Brayton has had some good finishes this season but with zero top 5’s you know that he is disappointed with the year thus far.
The #10 has showed that at times he can run the speed of the front runners
but he hasn’t been able to start there in the main events. In his heat race this weekend he came around the holeshot well outside of the top ten and could only muster a 6th. @justinbrayton barely missed getting the holeshot in his semi just behind Ronnie Stewart. Brayton made short work of Ronnie and ran away with the win. The Motoconcepts rider started 9th in the main and battled for that posi- tion for nearly the entire race. First he battled with Wilson, then Reed, and after fending off those two competitors he became under fire from Justin Bogle. It is believed that the #19 and #10 made contact and they both hit the dirt. Brayton fell back to 13th. The bad luck didn’t end there for JB10, with two laps remaining another mistake took place and he dropped another two positions to 15th.
