>> Ryan Breece hasn’t raced a single Supercross race this season, but is
no rookie to the class. Spending most of his time racing Arenacross this year the Babbit’s Kawasaki rider was ready to get back to racing in the big show. Qualifying 12th in timed practice, Breece was looking comfortable riding through the deep ruts the Seattle Supercross track had to offer. Heading into the night with some confidence Breece lined up for his heat race against some tough competition. When the gate dropped, he charged to that first turn putting himself right into the middle of the pack. Running 10th the Kawasaki rider was working hard to move forward into a transfer position. With just a few minutes left of the race he was working hard to make the pass for 9th, but wasn’t able to hold onto it sending him to the LCQ. Now faced with his last chance to make it in the main event there was no room left for error. Getting a not so good start out of the gate Breece was running 6th place through the first lap. Sitting a couple positions out of a transfer spot he was determined to get into that main event. After Tapia went down he moved into 5th and then wasted no time putting himself into 4th where he finished off the race. With the pressure off to qualify it was time for the Babbit’s Kawasaki rid- er to have some fun on the track. Not having the best gate pick for the main event he was still able to salvage a good start sitting midpack around the
first turn. By the second lap he was sitting back in 15th. Staying consistent throughout the entire main event Ryan Breece finished off his first Super- cross race of the season in 15th.
